Fair game with exclusive Early Bird ticket offer

For just £36, the Early Bird ticket offer, which is on available from 29 January, gives a family of four (two adults and two children, aged 5-15 years) an exclusive 10% discount on the gate price with the added benefit of a free Gold Parking pass (worth £12). Two or more adult tickets are also available for £34, per pair, with free Gold Parking.  This exclusive offer runs until 30 April and tickets can be purchased from the Game Fair website www.scottishfair.com.

Building on the success of last year’s event, which marked a milestone moment in the Fair’s history with the Commonwealth Baton travelling through the site, the 2015 three day event will once again take place at the scenic grounds of Scone Palace on the banks of the River Tay.  The Fair, now in its 27th year, is host to an array of lively shows, competitions and outdoor events for all the family over the weekend of Friday 3 - Sunday 5 July from 0930 until 1800 hours daily.

The Game Fair will celebrate the Year of Food & Drink with special chef events and cookery demos and the return of the popular Food Hall, which showcases the best of Scottish produce.  Other popular events returning this year include; gnat shooting, clay shooting, terrier racing, gun dogs, hill ponies, falconry, fly fishing and the spectacular freestyle mountain bike stunt team.

The Fair offers a wealth of excellent shopping with over 300 traders exhibiting and selling the finest crafts, clothing, equipment and sporting goods as well as the fantastic Food Hall.

Run by the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust, an independent wildlife conservation charity, the GWCT Scottish Game Fair captures the very essence of Scotland’s natural heritage and presents an excellent opportunity for all to engage with the countryside and discover more about the importance of conservation, Scotland’s game and wildlife management and sports.

Commenting on the Fair, Director David Noble, said:

“We are delighted to announce the Early Bird ticket for 2015, tickets are already selling fast and we are looking forward to welcoming thousands of visitors from Scotland and further afield to enjoy this fantastic long weekend celebrating Scotland’s great outdoors.  We are predicting another sell out event this year, so I’d encourage our visitors to take advantage of this Early Bird Offer.”
